St Peter's Murrumbeena, together with Holy Nativity Hughesdale, form a close faith community moulded in the Anglo-catholic tradition, located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The foundation stone of St Peter's, stating that St Peter's is built for the 'worship of God and the teaching of the Catholic faith', and concluding with our Lord's words to Peter, 'feed my sheep', sums up the timeless mission of the parish.
